PRSA-California Inland Empire Chapter member firm Westbound Communications brought home a Silver Anvil in June, earning the public relations industry's examplar award for excellence in the field.
The firm was recognized for its work related to the widening of Interstate 215 through San Bernardino as an important application of "stimulus projects" funds made possible by the $100 million American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA). Through Westbound's efforts, the project's groundbreaking event received national media attention, as well as the recognition of prominent politicians, as an example of stimulus-funded highway construction projects in the nation.
